Request from Customer
The customer used a metal coolant pump to transfer an abrasive slurry liquid. They had to replace the pump frequently because the impeller was heavily worn out with the slurry. So they asked us to develop an abrasive-strong pump.
Our Proposal
PP Pumps
- High abrasive resistant.
- Complete sealless type with no bearing metal.
We recommended a resin material for a solution to transfer this rigid slurry liquid. We repeatedly worked on designing and trials, emphasizing a strong resistance to this special slurry and “perfect seal-less” by achieving seal-less, and no bearing metal as well.
The customer highly evaluated the excellent abrasiveness of our developed pump and decided to adopt it.
What is going on now?
- Thanks to the booming semiconductor and solar cell market, the total number of units of this model we supplied from 1994 to 2015 exceeded 10,000 units.
- Our market for this model is spreading in Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, the USA, Malaysia, and other countries.
